We all need some ‘me time’ during our day – time to pause, bring ourselves into the present, breathe, move, relax and re-balance. When we take time for ourselves through an activity like a regular yoga practice, we create space for our own wellbeing. This in turn supports us with things like managing stress, clarity of mind, reducing inflammation and improving our overall physical and mental health enabling us to bring balance back into our lives.
Movement has the power to improve quality of life - all you need is a body that can move and a mind that is open to try something new. When it comes to yoga, my aim is to make it accessible and enjoyable to everyone. That way, you'll reap the benefits of moving through life with less restriction and more ease and hopefully keep up your yoga practice!
My style of teaching is a combination of functional sport, flow and restorative practices, linking mind, body and breath.
As with my approach to Health Coaching my teaching style is very much focussed on you as an individual. Whether you are a keen sports person or complete beginner, irrespective of your age or ability - it’s not a one size fits all approach, and this enables you to get the maximum benefit from your practice!
