At a time when so many people are struggling with their emotional and
physical health it can all feel quite overwhelming. Support isn’t always readily available and
although we recognise that we need to make changes for greater and improved
long-term health, we just don’t have the time, energy and resources to even
think about what those changes could be and how to begin to make them.
When one aspect of our lives is out of sync and there is so much going on, often everything else can appear to be slightly off balance and overwhelming too. Sometimes all we need is that one person to guide and support us, safely, confidentially and without judgement. I am that person, and by working together I can help you take action, make a change and bring everything back into balance!
Hello, my name is Wendy and I'm a certified Health Coach and qualified Yoga Teacher. Growing up, I was taught the importance of leading an active and healthy lifestyle, but my personal health journey hasn't always been a smooth one. Ten years ago, during a difficult period after losing my dad, I discovered yoga and its holistic benefits, which inspired me to pursue yoga teacher training. While I continued my work in the corporate world, I knew deep down that my true passion was in health and wellness, and in helping others achieve their goals.
At the end of 2021, when my corporate role was made redundant, I had a choice to make. I decided to follow my passion, and enrolled in the Level 4 Health Coach Diploma through the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), which I completed in 2022. Combining my expertise as a Health Coach and Yoga Teacher, I founded Health & Balance at the start of 2023.
My approach as a Health Coach and Yoga Teacher is centered around the individual. I am passionate about guiding and supporting people, without judgement, as they embark on their own journey towards improved health, reduced health risks, and greater balance in their lives. With Health & Balance, I am committed to helping others find the path that works best for them and empowering them to take control of their wellbeing.
